The Cucamonga Valley Vintners Cooperative, aka the CoOp or CVVC, was created in December of 2005 with the primary purpose of providing an informal organization or club for family and friends of the Founder to participate in the art of wine-making and to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

The CoOp was founded by George M. Walker, amateur vintner and passionate wine enthusiast. George has been making wine at his home since 1994. Desiring to share his passion for winemaking, he founded the CoOp to bring together family and friends to share in the process, mystique, and art of wine-making, to the extent each can contribute through physical labor, planning and preparation, ideas, monetary support, and, of course, an enjoyment of the fruits of the organization.

10 families chartered the organization in 2006.
As of the close of the 2010/2011 winemaking season, culminating with our Spring Bottling Fest, our merry group of home winemakers has 29 active families!
